Kaleido*Kids’ enrichment classes are tailored to meet the specific needs of each age group…from our tiniest infants to the ‘big-kid’ preschoolers
Each enrichment class takes place once a week; 30 minutes/room
Spanish Class w/Latin Heroes (Tuesdays)
Our Spanish classes create an environment that encourages children to explore, not only the Spanish language, but the values, customs and beliefs of other people & cultures. During Spanish class, children learn language while having fun through activities such as music, dancing, singing, role playing and book readings. Our goal is to have them speak and understand Spanish, not just repeat!
Music Class w/WeeGroove (Thursdays)
Kindermusik’s engaging, developmentally appropriate music classes offer thoughtfully integrated sequences of activities that set the stage for optimal, multi-sensory learning. Each lesson is designed to boost school readiness, nurture multiple areas of a child’s development, and tap into a variety of individual learning styles.
Mindfulness Class: Calm Classroom
Mindfulness is a cornerstone of mental health and lays the foundation for the development of core social-emotional competencies like self-awareness and self-management. Calm Classroom’s scripted breathing, stretching, focusing and relaxation techniques can be led by teachers and students, and are suitable for all learning styles and physical abilities. For infants we focus on calming all senses through exploration of relaxing scents, light-touch massage, soothing music and soft sensory materials. For all ages, a nice way to start the week after a long weekend…
